Our discovery tours provide an extensive exploration of worldwide molluscs (shells) and worldwide sea urchins, presented across our two comprehensive exhibition rooms showcasing the remarkable diversity, form, structure, functionality and beauty of sea urchins and molluscs.

Probus groups, homeschooling students, tourist groups and similar parties of 15 to 40 participants.

Homeschooling groups

For homeschooling students, the tour also includes a one hour introduction with a “hands on” approach, allowing students to connect more directly with the exhibits and gain a better understanding of the scientific and ecological importance of these remarkable marine creatures. A “discovery handout” is supplied — and at the conclusion of the tour, each student can select a shell to keep.

Parents attending homeschooling tours are exempt from charge.
